Inmates in the Tennessee Department of Correction are allowed to make craft projects during
the course of their incarceration. Many inmates who have never had the opportunity to actually
create something with their own hands now have the time to give it their all and actually do
something constructive. Not only does this give an inmate an outlet for his creative efforts, it also
lets the inmate see that he or she is capable of doing something that is constructive will also bring
happiness to others.

This page will house many crafts made by inmates within the TDOC. We ask that you come
back from time to time to look at some of the craftsmanship that goes on behind the walls of a
prison. We think you'll be amazed at the pride that goes into these handmade items. If you are
interested in any of these items, please email me at theaccomplice@hotmail.com.
